Admission to study at the Computer Science Department of École Normale Supérieure

Three  possibilities of admission to predoctoral studies 



The sciences entrance examination recruits mainly after 2 to 3 years of high education (equivalent of college), usually in preparatory classes to elite schools ("classes préparatoires aux grandes écoles").

Independent candidates have to prove that they graduated out of secondary education with the Baccalauréat or an equivalent diploma. Students having acquired a diploma rating up to 240 ECTS units (European Credit Transfer System) are not allowed to participate.

There is no age limit.

Registrations to the Sciences entrance examination are made  between the beginning of December and the beginning of January  via  http://www.scei-concours.fr/ 
The exams begin in April and the results are published at the end of July.

An information meeting, joint with the other Écoles normales supérieures, is organized for candidates.
